Find out about our school's links with YuYing Primary School in China.

Ours is a small village school situated in the old village of Wootton at the foot of Boars Hill. Our (approximately) one hundred pupils are divided between four mixed-age classes. Children join us in the September following their fourth birthday and leave us when they are 11.

Our experienced and dedicated staff provide a caring and stimulating environment reflected both in the contents of our Ofsted report (March 2009) and SIAS report (April 2009).

Many of our parents play an active part in the life of our school as either members of our parents association, the Friends of Wootton School or as Governors.

The children have access to a network of computers with broadband internet connection.  The interactive whiteboards and projectors installed in all classes have proved invaluable. There is also a 'bus' of sixteen laptops for full class use.

Our younger children benefit from an ‘Early Years Garden’, in addition to the variety of shared outdoor play areas and there are many planned improvements for both site and buildings. We also have access to the nearby parish playing field.
